A grandpa, A father, A favorite, A friend,
A gentleman, A sweetheart, A blessing to man.
A hero, a fighter, who fought till his end,
Here I stand ; his spirit I commend.
Although he is not with us, my Grandpa's not gone.
A lively man with all the love to give,
Please listen as the memories we re-live.
*****
A smile so soothing eyes so bright
When troubles’ were near he showed us the light
From late night TV land to his Nascar race
to his soothing I love yous’ and blessing us god's grace
Don’t forget his gracious words for some his “I love you mores”
Remember each time, Aunt Peggy, when he carried u across the dance floor
Don’t forget the diving lessons during those summer days
Just remember your Papa Loo loves you in oh so many ways
Mom, Tracy, Please don’t forget; you’re daddy’s little caboose, always attached to his hip
Don’t forget the bingo nights or every Thanksgiving Cowboys Game
Just always remember he loves you always and with you his spirit remains
Don’t forget the your morning breath, his first words “Rise & Shine”
Or his reassuring moods of love, with you Aunt Brenda his spirit consigns
Just remember his open arms welcoming you home on those summer nights
Just remember that daddy loves you and everything’s going to be alright.
Don’t forget the summer days of dad and his only son
Where shooting was a hobby, with him you shot your first gun
Don’t forget Uncle Shane, the memories you made caring for him every day
Just remember his misses you and loves you in every way.
With you let my grandpa’s spirit remain
A memory taken from each child’s past
From his very first days to his last
In loving memory this I can say
Another angel was needed today.
